Clean sweep for Rory as tweak pays off
RORY MCILROY hopes a little change to his driver can keep having a big impact on his game after breezing into the knockout stages at the WGC Match Play.
The Northern Irish ace made it three wins from three as he topped his group with a 3&2 victory over Keegan Bradley.
McIlroy famously needed a ride in a state trooper's car to avoid being late to face Bradley at the Ryder Cup back in 2012 after misreading the tee time on TV at Europe's team hotel.
But his timing was perfect last night and there was little drama in a routine win.
