Give our GPs the cash to ease crisis

THE NHS is a cherished institution that is there for Scots from cradle to grave.

But our health service is struggling on a range of fronts and patients are being let down. Waiting lists are too high, accident and emergency departments can be an ordeal and ambulances can still take way too long to arrive.

But our GP services, so often the first port of call for those who need the health service, also need urgent attention.
