Ex-Dundee star given 22-month sentence

A FOOTIE starlet who turned to drug dealing after his career flopped was jailed yesterday.

Former Dundee youth player Luke Mackie, 24, was caught with heroin, cocaine and cannabis worth almost £15,000 at his home last year. He told a court he started taking drugs after being released as a 17-year-old by the SPL team.

His drug use spiralled and he had to start dealing to pay his debts.
