Flu leads to NHS visiting restrictions

THE decision to halt hospital visitors in NHS Ayrshire and Arran due to a rise in flu cases was “not taken lightly”, Health Secretary Neil Gray said.
The health board announced last week it would suspend routine appointments from tomorrow and review the situation daily.
