A COUNCILLOR'S home and car were pelted with dog mess after he suggested pet owners take poo bags home to dispose of in their own bins.
Cllr Carl John hit out after bins were left overflowing in his town of East Calder, West Lothian, and asked if they could be "emptied more often".
