Christmas rap after festive singer's 42-hour record bid

A MAN has broken a world record after singing Christmas tunes for 42 hours straight - without losing his voice.
Dave Purchase, from Gloucester, spent almost two days singing 38 festive classics, from Mariah Carey to Wham!, 18 times each.
Despite feeling at times like he was "hallucinating", Dave, 63, didn't give up.
