SUNDAY MAIL LEGEND'S SHOW DROPPED

MUSIC journalism legend Billy Sloan has hit out after BBC bosses axed his show because he doesn't play the mainstream hits.

In a huge shakeup at Radio Scotland, the former showbiz editor of our sister paper the Sunday Mail was told his Saturday night show is being dropped by the broadcaster.

The ex-Radio Clyde host plays rock and pop music to audiences every week at 10pm but the plug is being pulled on his show at the end of this year.

Roddy Hart, Iain Anderson and Natasha Raskin Sharp are also having their shows dropped by the BBC within the next month.
