Cummings eyes win over Kiwis

SCOTT CUMMINGS is sure Scotland have made a lot of progress over the past couple of years - and says victories at Twickenham and in Paris are proof of that.

But the Glasgow lock knows to get the rest of the world to take notice, they need to take one of the biggest scalps in the game. And they don't get any bigger than New Zealand, Saturday's opponents at Murrayfield. Scotland have not beaten the All Blacks in 32 games, so a win in the Autumn Nations Series would make history.

Cummings said: “We can say we're progressing but what'll show it is beating some of these big teams. “We've done that with England, France. But definitely, some of those Southern Hemisphere powerhouses, we haven't beaten consistently.
