A PERFECT 10 PUTS THISTLE LEVEL AT TOP

PARTICK THISTLE pulled themselves level on points with St Johnstone at the Championship summit after coming from behind to beat Ayr.

Ethan Walker opened for the Honest Men but strikes from Tsoanelo Letsosa and Ben Stanway in four second-half minutes meant a first defeat in nine for the away side as the Jags stretched their unbeaten league run to 10 games.

Jags boss Mark Wilson: said: “I told the players at halftime it’s just the way football works sometimes, wed dominated but were behind.

“There was no panic. T've been in dressing rooms which have been rubbish, where going behind is the end of the world.
