Young woman found dead in woods named

A WOMAN whose body was found in woodland in Gwynedd this week has been named.

An inquest yesterday opened into the death of Kerenza Williams, who was 24-years-old.

Kate Robertson, senior coroner for north west Wales, said at the Caernarfon hearing that Ms Williams was found near the A496 in Maentwrog on Tuesday, July 8.

She said Ms Williams, who was a carer, had been reported missing the evening before and that North Wales Police had began a search for her.

"Sadly she was found in a woodland area," said the coroner.
