Reds ready to strike as Isak gives notice of his desire to depart Newcastle

ALEXANDER ISAK has told Newcastle United he is considering leaving the club this summer - with Liverpool primed to make a move for the striker.
It emerged yesterday that Isak had been left out of the Newcastle squad for their tour of Singapore and South Korea as he continues to nurse a minor thigh injury.
But reports stated the Magpies have been made aware of the striker’s desire to explore a move away, with Liverpool now on standby to make a British record offer.
Newcastle have been steadfast in their insistence Isak is not for sale, with the 25-year-old - who scored 27 goals in 42 appearances last season — valued in excess of £120million.
