WREXHAM boss Phil Parkinson insists he won't be looking to make too many changes to his squad when the next transfer window opens on January 1.

The Red Dragons, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, spent big during the summer after securing their third consecutive promotion to the Championship.

A total of £33million was splashed out on bringing in 13 new players as Parkinson carried out a significant revamp.

Several figures who were once key players for Wrexham also headed for the exit during that period, including club talisman Paul Mullin, who left to join League One outfit Wigan Athletic on loan.

Parkinson has now said there is unlikely to be as much activity during the winter transfer window as he aims to maintain stability within the dressing room.

The former Bolton and Sunderland manager said: "We'll monitor the injury situation, but we made a lot of changes in the summer and I feel we're only just getting a settled feel in the building.

"We won't be making too many changes in the January window.
