Objections to plans to charge across whole week at key car park

CONWY County Council wants to extend parking charges on a car park on the edge of an historic town.

The local authority has now left its former headquarters at Bodlondeb in Conwy town.

The building has been let to a group of entrepreneurs but the local authority continues to manage the car parking spaces.

They have had charges in place over weekends, with free parking during the week.

But they are now looking to bring in charges seven days a week. A notice has been issued about the proposed changes with the public now able to comment on the plans.
