Mullin: It may be all over

WREXHAM star Paul Mullin has admitted his time at the club could be over after expressing resentment over being frozen out of the squad.

The striker has been a talisman for the Red Dragons since joining in July 2021, scoring 110 goals in 172 outings across all competitions.

However, the 30-year-old struggled for form in League One this season, only finding the net three times after undergoing back surgery last summer.

Mullin, who is a favourite of Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, was left out of the matchday squad completely in the league after the end of January.

His exclusion followed manager Phil Parkinson bringing in strikers Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez during the winter transfer window. Mullin has been linked with a move away from the Racecourse Ground this summer after the side secured promotion to the Championship in April.

The Liverpudlian has now confessed his days with Wrexham could be numbered after voicing his frustration at being sidelined by Parkinson.
