Not only is Gordon on the verge of having his best season numerically, the quality has also improved and he is enjoying a great time of things with the likes of Bass Hunter.

Superstylin had been building up a series of really good efforts before gaining a deserved win last time out.

It was a weak race he won on Boxing Day, hence the handicapper only put him up 5lb for winning by 19 lengths, but you could only be happy with that Fontwell display.

Since having a tongue tie applied four runs ago he has yet to finish outside of the first three and looks certain to give another good account.
