Charity to carry out independent investigation over 4-year mystery

A NEW independent investigation is being launched into the disappearance of Catrin Maguire. The 22 year old was last seen in her hometown of Holyhead on Anglesey in November 2021.

Her devastated family have continued to look for answers since then, amid the pain of not knowing what happened and where she is.

Now, investigators with the charity Locate International have taken on the case, and will be carrying out their own independent investigation at the request of the Maguire family.

The police case into her disappearance remains active.

A statement by Locate International said: "Catrin, a thirdyear health and social care student at the University of Bangor, had bought a return train ticket from Bangor to Holyhead on Monday, 15 November, 2021.
