A ROW has erupted over the amount of management fees Gwynedd residents have to pay to live on their estate.

The estate, near Ysgol Yr Hendre in Caernarfon, was built by developer Watkin Jones.

Cyngor Gwynedd Cllr Dewi Jones claims 120 to 130 householders on Gwel Y Llan estate in Caernarfon used to pay for services, some of which have since been taken on by Cyngor Gwynedd instead.

He insists residents are allegedly effectively paying the management company a total of about £20,000 a year between them for a 16-bay car park, a patch of grassland and water tanks to be maintained.

However, the management company Trinity Estates say their responsibilities have not changed as a result of Cyngor Gwynedd taking on a bigger role.
