'Crazy' Eryri parking on icy roads sparks warning by police

POLICE have issued a warning to drivers about parking at an Eryri beauty spot with locals describing the situation as “crazy”.
Parking chaos at places like Pen-y-Pass and Llyn Ogwen is usually a summer and bank holiday phenomenon.
But the Eryri snowscapes have proved a magnet for walkers and those seeking the perfect winter picture. It has seen motorists parking on the roadside between Llanberis and Pen-y-pass.
