City youngster Wright makes Canaries move

JACOB Wright has completed a permanent move to Norwich City after a productive loan spell at the Championship club.

Wright dramatically opted for Carrow Road in the Jan-uary window after being set to move to Swansea, and has now officially joined after a deal was struck with Manchester City.

As previously reported, the midfielder will go for an initial £2.3m.

That has the potential to rise to £3m, and there are also sell-on and buy-back clauses included.

Wright made his senior debut for Pep Guardiola this season in the Carabao Cup game at Spurs, but did not get another opportunity to impress.

The manager had made it clear that he wanted him to stay for the campaign, only for chances to disappear with the form of the team.
