Attempted murder and wounding charge over incident

A man has been charged with "attempted murder and wounding" following an incident in Rhyl. There was a major emergency presence, with police, paramedics and air ambulance called to the Meredith Crescent area, during Thursday.

A North Wales Police Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele statement said: “A 37-year-old man has been charged following a wounding on Meredith Crescent on Thursday, July 3.

“Matthew Macmillan, of Meredith Crescent, Rhyl, has been charged with attempted murder and wounding.”
