Throw the book at Duke of York

PRINCE Andrew has been an embarrassment to the Royal Family for years. He has made a rod for his own back through his own choices and his position as a royal is untenable.

The British public needs a monarchy that is strong and united, not tainted with controversy and constantly embroiled in unsavoury stories.

The best thing Andrew could do is to keep a low profile so as not to cause any more upset.

It's clear that Prince Andrew won't be making any trips to America any time soon as he fears he'd be grilled by the FBI over his Jeffrey Epstein connections.

The fact he is avoiding confrontation with US law enforcement agencies speaks volumes.

It is a matter of regret that we may never discover the true extent of his involvement with the paedophile Epstein.
