THRILLED TO GET THE CALL Scott is rewarded for his fine form at Bournemouth

ALEX SCOTT earned his first full England call-up after bossing his friend and Under-21 teammate Elliott Anderson in the Premier League.

The two midfielders combined to help Lee Carsley's side win the European Championship last summer.

Nottingham Forest star Anderson, 23, made his England debut in September and has won four caps.

Now Scott, 22, will join him after enjoying the better of Bournemouth’s 2-0 win over Forest last month.

“It was nice to play against Elliott and nice to play well against him,” said the Guernsey-born star.

“We spoke after the game and he's one of my closest friends in football.
