Strictly Amy's backstage collapse

Showbiz Editor AMY Dowden was rushed to hospital after collapsing backstage on Strictly.

The pro-dancer and cancer survivor fell ill minutes after performing with JLS star JB Gill on Saturday night.

Bosses dialled 999 just after 9pm and an ambulance arrived.

But Amy, who returned to the BBC series full time this year after battling breast cancer, appears to have recovered. Her spokesman said: "She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern."
