Spend a day in our life, so you can see how broken everything is

CAMPAIGNERS have warned tens of thousands of vulnerable people will be plunged into even deeper poverty if Labour presses on with benefits cuts unveiled yesterday.
Keir Starmer was accused of ignoring the sick and disabled he vowed to protect by slashing the personal independence payment and the health element of universal credit.
The government claims the move will save £5billion from the welfare bill and help more people back into work by fixing the “broken” benefits system.
But Holly Wright, who relies on PIP to care for her three disabled children urged the PM: “Come and spend a day in our life so you can see how broken everything is.” She and husband Dave, both, 39, look after Tommy, 11, Freya, 14, Kye, 18, and also have 21-year-old Ellie who is not disabled. They were among a host of furious families slamming the welfare cuts.
