Health Sec calls out Reform on 'racism'

NIGEL Farage has been condemned for “deafening silence” after a Reform MP complained about adverts “full of Black people, full of Asian people”.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting branded Sarah Pochin’s comments “racist” and said she had only apologised as “she’s been called out”.

And he criticised Mr Farage for failing to rebuke her.

Ms Pochin, the MP for Runcorn and Helsby, apologised on Saturday for saying “it drives me mad when I see adverts full of Black people, full of Asian people”.

After a major backlash, she said the comments were “phrased poorly” but insisted that many adverts are “unrepresentative of British society”.
