Star discovers prince is Slow Horses fan at knighthood ceremony

SLOW Horses star Sir Gary Oldman revealed Prince William is a fan of the TV series and even joked about his character's grubbiness as he gave him his knighthood.

The Oscar-winning actor was knighted for services to drama at Windsor Castle yesterday.

Sir Gary, 67, admitted he felt very emotional accepting the honour from the Prince of Wales.

He said William told him that every time he saw him on screen as veteran MI5 agent Jackson Lamb, “I just want to give you a good wash”.
