The 10-year-old, who won chasing’s blue riband event in 2023 and 2024 before chasing home Inothewayurthinkin 12 months ago, was a 7-1 chance to regain his crown.

But Galopin Des Champs “wasn't right” after pleasing Mullins (right) in a workout on Thursday and will miss out.
