Reeves' hint on gambling tax increase

RACHEL Reeves yesterday dangled the possibility of a hike in gambling taxes after Gordon Brown urged the Chancellor to use the levy to tackle child poverty.

The ex-Prime Minister told the Mirror this week that Ms Reeves could raise £3.2billion to help kids, through the "massively undertaxed profits" of the betting industry.
