Saracens' returning star admits Lions or England call up would have his stomach churning with emotion

OWEN FARRELL reckons the very thought of linking up with the Lions or making an emotional England comeback would "tie him in knots".

But the centre insists he is certainly nowhere near retiring from international rugby and has left the door open to a potential summer somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere.

Injuries to Andy Farrell's (left) or Steve Borthwick's touring squads may well see the 33-year-old go from returning to his Saracens "home" after a frustrating year in France, to flying off to Australia or Argentina and America.

Farrell is mentally and physically getting back up to speed after struggles with injury and concussion.
