Boss Eddie insists Magpies will bounce back after a miserable week dogged by injuries and defeats

NEWCASTLE can emerge from their week of hell in perfect shape to begin a new chapter in the club's history.

While some fans are already writing off Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool, bullish manager Eddie Howe is adamant that his Magpies will find strength in adversity.

They will be without injured pair Lewis Hall and Sven Botman, plus the suspended Anthony Gordon, at West Ham tonight and again at Wembley.

But if anyone thinks the players will be licking their wounds when they run out at the London Stadium, they will be in for a shock according to Howe.
