Boss Howe takes hat off to Toon joker Woltemade

NEWCASTLE boss Eddie Howe batted away talk that Nick Woltemade is unhappy on Tyneside.

Magpies chiefs were furious with reports that Woltemade was cheesed off with life at Newcastle and wanted to return to the Bundesliga.

And Howe insisted Woltemade is already one of the dressing room jokers, having had his teammates in stitches when perching his beanie hat on the top of his head as the squad arrived at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium ahead of their 6-1 Champions League win against Qarabag in midweek.
