Barnes given fatherhood tips by Howe after tough Toon start... but winger says fans will now see best of him
HARVEY BARNES received advice on fatherhood from boss Eddie Howe as he battled back from a broken foot which hampered his first season at Newcastle.
The winger has vowed to consign his injury-hit debut season on Tyneside to history, and says fans will now see his best form.
Barnes suffered a break in September last year as Newcastle beat Sheffield United 8-0, with medics giving conflicting advice on whether an operation was needed. He also had a daughter with partner Naomi, moved house and tried to settle on Tyneside after his £28million arrival from Leicester City.
