Man admits stab murder of father, 73, before trial

A SON has pleaded guilty to stabbing his elderly father to death.
Christopher Monro, 30, was due to go on trial this week but yesterday admitted murder.
His dad Peter, 73, was found with knife wounds in a bedroom of his home by a carer who rang police at midday on February 11.
