Thief quilty of murdering delivery driver in getaway crash

A THIEF has been found guilty of murdering an Amazon driver who was trying to stop his van from being stolen.

Claudiu Carol-Kondor, 42, clung to the vehicle for half a mile as Mark Ross hit speeds of almost 60mph.

Ross, who had climbed in while Mr Kondor was delivering a parcel, swerved from side to side then deliberately crashed the van into a Mini.

Mr Kondor died from head and chest injuries, a court heard.

Ross claimed he was unaware of Mr Kondor hanging on to the van.

But a jury found him guilty of murder by a majority of 10 to 1.
