LISA Riley grins alongside Peter Kay, weeks after he got in hot water with a heckler for telling her she looked like the soap star. The 48-year-old, who plays Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, posed for a photo with her pal at his show and said afterwards how much she had enjoyed it.

Peter, 51, stirred controversy in February when two hecklers were being evicted from his performance.

A man kept shouting “garlic bread”, a catchphrase used in his stand-up and sitcom Phoenix Nights, and a woman kept calling his name.

He said the disruption gave him no choice but to ask staff to eject them from Manchester's AO Arena.
