'He was a good pal, it's hard to believe'

I'M utterly devastated that Ricky is gone. He was a good friend. No part of me expected this.

He was talking to me not long ago about getting ready for his big fight. He was excited, in good form, in training mode and looking forward to the future.

My last vivid memory of Ricky is while I was performing in the tour of Torvill and Dean's Our Last Dance show. He was looking out at me on the ice, his girls beside him and his eyes were just lit up. He was so excited to watch us, as were his girls. His kids were everything to Ricky.
