No one is standing up for millions of British Muslims, says 'deeply concerned' TV host

GOOD Morning Britain host Adil Ray revealed he has received racist abuse from online trolls.

The actor and presenter said he has been told to “watch himself” on the streets, as he and ITV co-host Kate Garraway discussed racism yesterday.

Amid national tension over asylum-seekers and immigration, Adil, 51, said: “There doesn't seem to be any politician standing up and reassuring millions of Muslims in this country that the country is behind them.

“It has been going on for weeks now and that's deeply concerning.”

He added: “I've experienced it, I've had people DM me on Instagram, talk about remigration. I've had threats to watch myself on the streets.
