OLIVER GLASNER has held peace talks as Crystal Palace want him to stay until the end of the season.

- BY JOHN CROSS

The Palace boss (below) met with chairman Steve Parish to clear the air after the Austrian's remarkable outburst following the club's 2-1 defeat at Sunderland.

There still remains an underlying fear among the fanbase that Glasner could go. But the club are now hopeful he will see out the remainder of his contract. Palace are bracing themselves for Italian giants Juventus to make a bid for striker Jean-Philippe Mateta which would test Glasner's patience again.
