88-year-old in hospital with respiratory infection
POPE Francis is said to be in good spirits as concern mounts over the 88-year-old's health.
The pontiff remained in hospital last night in what doctors described as a "complex clinical situation".
He was admitted to a hospital in Rome on Friday suffering from a respiratory tract infection.
Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni said Francis was "in good spirits" but will "require an appropriate hospital stay".
