E-BIKE HIT & RUN MURDER PROBE

YOUNG mum died after being rammed off an e-bike in what police suspect was a murder.

Both pillion passenger Alana Armstrong and the rider were knocked from the bike on Tuesday evening.

The car sped off without stopping Alana was pronounced dead at the scene while the rider, a man in his 20s believed to be her boyfriend Jordan, was taken to hospital and has had a leg amputated below the knee.

Chief Supt Dave Kirby, of Derbyshire Police, said: "Alana was just 25 and a mum to a six-year-old boy.
