Drone and missile hit horror for Ukrainians

RUSSIA has sent waves of more than 650 drones and fifty missiles into Ukraine, causing widespread destruction and devastating blackouts.

The attacks killed at least two people in Zapor-izhzhia and left at least 17 seriously wounded, including six children.

In an unusual move, western communities close to Poland came under attack, prompting Polish warplanes to scramble in case missiles strayed across the border.
