DAVIES PLANS DOUBLE DATE WITH DESTINY
Daily Mirror UK
|April 07, 2025
CHRIS DAVIES admits he has a lot on his mind as he contemplates BIRMINGHAM'S return to the Championship and the prospect of cup glory.
-
Saturday's 6-2 out of 10-man BARNSLEY thanks to a double from Alfie May (above) and goals from Jay Stansfield, Luke Harris, Kieron Dowell and Lukas Jutkiewicz left the Blues knowing victory over Peterborough tomorrow would secure promotion.
And boss Davies, whose side face Posh again in the Vertu Trophy final at Wembley on Sunday, said: "I've got a lot to consider, thinking about what's needed. We want to win the next game. That's the most important thing in football. But obviously, we know that Wembley is there on the weekend as well, so these are all things I've got to consider, see how the boys are physically, and we'll go from there."
