ONE of Britain's biggest car park operators has gone into administration, raising the risk of closures.

Car parks at risk of closing as NCP stalls

National Car Parks manages around 340 car parks across the country, employing 682 people.

But its financial performance has suffered in recent years in the wake of the Covid crisis.

Demand for parking has failed to recover to previous levels, particularly in city centre and commuter locations.
