NOTTINGHAM killer Valdo Calocane attacked a police officer helping doctors detain him two years before his knife spree, a public inquiry heard.

PC Barnaby Pritchard said Calocane headbutted and punched him, and swung handcuffs as a weapon. The paranoid schizophrenia sufferer was eventually subdued after being tasered twice as well as pepper sprayed.
