Wife of diabetic sues casino for negligence

THE family of a British man described as one in a million have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against a Las Vegas hotel after he was left alone to die.

William Howell's wife and two sons - one who was unborn when he died - are suing Aria Casino Hotel and its security, plus the ambulance company and two crew.

Such cases, if proven, can run into millions of dollars in settlements in Nevada.

Type 1 diabetic William, 37, fell gravely ill while attempting to board his Virgin flight home to London on August 30, 2023.
