Blue-blooded Raheeb sparkles

A BROTHER of Baaeed and Hukum made the ideal start to his career when scoring on debut at Ascot yesterday.

Two-year-old Raaheeb, trained by Owen Burrows who steered Hukum to King George glory in 2023, was a comfortable winner of a 7f maiden under Jim Crowley.

Baaeed won six Group 1 races over ‘Im to Im2f while Hukum won at the highest level over 1m4f. “It's nice that he seems to have got some of his brothers’ blood,” said Crowley.
