BELLA JAIL READY WITH BABY UNIT

SUSPECTED British drug smuggler Bella Culley could be forced to bring up her baby behind bars in Georgia.

The 18-year-old, who has said she is pregnant, faces a possible life term after being accused of importing cannabis into Eastern Europe.

Bella is being held in Women's Prison No.5, where children are understood to be able to stay with mums up to the age of three, with special facilities provided.

Her dad Niel is still thought to be waiting for an emotional reunion with his daughter at the jail, about a 45-minute drive south of capital Tbilisi.

Bella requested a visit but the process takes up to five working days.

The teenager, from Billingham on Teesside, was held at Tbilisi International Airport and is accused of bringing approximately 12kg of cannabis and 2kg of hashish into Georgia.
