The Federation of Motorcycle Sports in Sri Lanka (FMSSL), the governing body for the nation's motorcycle racing activities since its inception in 1997, has appointed its new office bearers following the recent election.

Sudath Weerasinghe was elected as the 13th President of the FMSSL on August 4, 2025, succeeding a long line of leaders who have guided the sport over nearly three decades. He will serve a two-year term, during which he has pledged to elevate the standards of the sport and create greater opportunities for riders.
