SSC coast to fifth successive win

Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) coasted to their fifth successive win in the ongoing Major Club Tier 'B' limited over tournament with a close 15-run win over Moratuwa SC in a high scoring match played at the CCC ground.

They were helped by a ton from Krishan Sanjula and a half ton by Shevon Daniel taking first lease of the wicket and made a score of 295.

They succeeded in restricting Moratuwa SC for a score of 250.

In the other matches that were played, Malay CC,

Sebastianites and Ragama CC came out on top against Kandy Customs SC, United Southern SC and Navy SC.
