MBA Open Badminton set for May 19-25

The Mercantile Badminton Association (MBA), one of Sri Lanka Badminton’s (SLB) most active affiliates, will conduct their annual MBA All-Island Open Badminton Championships 2025 next month.

The National Ranking Level 1 Tournament, sanctioned by SLB, is scheduled to take place from May 19 to 25 at two venues in Colombo — the MBA Indoor Courts and the Lumbini College Sports Complex.

Expected to draw Sri Lanka’s top ranked shuttlers during the week-long competition, the MBA is now in the process of accepting entries for the MBA All-Island Open Badminton Championships 2025, where competitions are expected to be placed under different categories.
